Meet Dr. Long
William T. Long, MD, FAAD, is a recognized specialist in all areas of dermatology as a double board-certified practitioner. Dr. Long has been practicing for over 30 years and is in high demand at Manhattan Dermatology’s two New York City offices in Midtown East and Murray Hill.
Dr. Long moved to New York City for postgraduate training following receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. At Mount Sinai Hospital, he completed both his internal medicine residency and internship. Dr. Long then undertook a second residency in dermatology at New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center- regarded as one of the best dermatological schools in the country.
Dr. Long retains his fellowship with the American Academy of Dermatology and his affiliation with the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery to guarantee he remains abreast of the current technological breakthroughs. In addition, Dr. Long is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Long spends his time away from Manhattan Dermatology teaching medical students and residents at the NYU School of Medicine. He has been a lecturer at NYU for more than three decades. Dr. Wendy Long, Dr. Long’s daughter, serves at the facility with him.
